To reduce food waste with smart cooling<\/strong> has proven to be a very effective solution. One of the best examples can be found at \u00d6stersund Hospital<\/strong>, where a simple idea has made a big difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is where food that has not been sold in the other refrigerators or from today's production, but is still perfectly good to eat, is placed. Instead of being thrown away, it is sold on at a greatly reduced price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The discount is often between 60-80 %<\/strong>, which means that food quickly finds new buyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result is that very little food actually needs to be thrown away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
